Based on our seawall engineering firm's recommendation, we contacted Olsen to come out to address engineer's recommendations. Chris (the owner) promptly came out to assess the work and confirmed it was exactly the type of project they handle. He promised a quote within two days. Unfortunately, the follow-up communication was disappointing. After a week with no quote, I called the office three times over two weeks. Each time, staff promised to relay my message and have Chris return my call. I also sent an email requesting a timeline update. Despite these multiple attempts, I received no response. I understand that businesses get busy and unexpected issues arise. However, basic communication - even a brief message explaining delays or declining the project - would have allowed us to move forward with other contractors. This lack of responsiveness ultimately delayed our project and forced us to look elsewhere. I contacted Olson Marine Services, asking if this was within their realm of services. They informed me that it was and scheduled a time to come create the sidewalk. They came as scheduled and preformed the work within the day. The following day, they returned to remove the form for the sidewalk. I weas extremely pleased with the quality of work and the cleanliness in which they left my property. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring their services. Oslon Marine Services was by far the best constructor I have worked with for my repairs.
